Chet Baker joined by Philip Catherine on guitar and Jean-Louis Rassinfosse on bass, recorded live on September 14, 1985, during the 12th Foggia Jazz Festival. What we hear on this stunning release is a trio without piano and drums, in which the lyricism of Baker's trumpet, Catherine's nervous guitar phrasing, as well as the solidity of Rassinfosse's constant rhythmic drive, ensured the music a surprising balance based on contrasts.
